So, for those of you taking over the world through your laptop, here are some of the best cafes to work from in Edinburgh …

Brew Lab

With plenty of space – and more importantly, plenty of plugs, – Brew Lab is a popular spot for remote workers in Edinburgh. Whether you opt to listen to their playlist or pop in your headphones, you can choose to work away at a bar top or relax on one of their comfy sofas.

For the coffee connoisseurs, their lab is renowned for its training facilities, so you can be sure their brew is top-notch. If it’s time for a break, we suggest you grab a baguette or a pastry and enjoy the views from the back windows.

The CoURT Cafe

Of course, we couldn’t list the best spots in the city for remote workers without including our very own cafe at The CoURT – and hey, we might be biased but we definitely think it’s one of the best cafes to work from in Edinburgh.

Open to the public, our own little haven has fast, free wifi to help you crack on with work and homemade soups and sandwiches to keep you fuelled throughout the day. We are also on-hand with delicious coffee for that caffeine fix and a cosy hot chocolate if you’re working a bit later into the night (no judgement here!) and need a sugar hit.

From meeting fellow travellers and swapping stories on your breaks to seeing a whole lot of 4-legged friends on the daily (yes, that’s right – we’re dog-friendly), our cafe has a social, friendly vibe that is hard to find anywhere else.
