A former courthouse and jail has transformed into a CoDE Pod Hostels – THE CoURT. The Victorian A-listed building is located in the heart of Edinburgh Old Town and surrounded by the most tourist attractions. The oldest part of the court buildings was completed in 1693. The building at 1A Parliament Square was originally designed as the Edinburgh police chambers and contained both holding cells and courtroom facilities including the former district court.

PERFECT location, royal mile, across from church, surrounded by restaurants, bars, boutique stores, has events, definitely try their whiskey or gin underground tasting, laundry room, attached bar/restaurant, cubicle type bunk pods that help with privacy and soundproofing

Localisation was amazing, breakfast was cheap and the staff was very friendly. Would come back for sure!
Good room. The pods offer sufficient privacy. The code-controlled safes are very large. The location is excellent and the atmosphere is good (although I didn't experience it myself on my short trip). Only the showers could be a little cleaner, but the ‘dirt’ I saw is hard to avoid and is created after a single use.
My second time here, was not disappointed. Would recommend to everyone. Clean, comfy, excellent location.
